Initiatives,
Curatorships and Installation
Formed
a group of 10 artists who worked and exhibited together. Invited these
artists to exhibit and curated the exhibition LithoEtch, Printmaking
Exhibition by the `Group of 10', Willoughby Workshop Arts Centre,
Willoughby, Sydney, 2002.
Embarked
on a world correspondence and tour to generate support in an effort to
promote and to draw attention to the suffering and discrimination faced by
the old Jewish Communities of Syria and Yemen, 1992-1993. Exhibitions held
in New York and New Jersey between July 1994 and February 1995.
Initiated,
organised and invited Jewish Artists to set up the exhibition Hebraic
Connection at The National Jewish Centre, Canberra, ACT, Australia, 1992.
The exhibition was supported by Mr. S. Cohen, Empire Hotel, Brisbane, and
by a Pat Corrigan Artist Grant, Managed by NAVA with financial assistance
from the Australian Council.
Collaborated
to set and promote “The Gallery” and to run the artist run initiative
two persons’ exhibition ‘Mysterious Arrival’. The Gallery was
formerly known as Ben Grady Gallery and after the exhibition renamed
Spiral Arm Gallery, Leichhardt Street Studios, Canberra, ACT, Australia,
1992.
Initiated
and collaborated with two other artists to set the sculpture installation
exhibition Empty. Artist Run Initiative Project, Gallery 3, Canberra
Contemporary Art Space, ACT, Australia, 1991.
Jointly
organised graduating printmakers exhibition “Memorandum”, High Court
of Australia, Canberra, 1990.
Organised
an exhibition and represented the Canberra Institute of the Arts
Printmaking Workshop at the Ceramics and Printmaking Workshop Exhibition,
Weswal Gallery, Tamworth, NSW, 1990.
Assisted
in organisation, framing and hanging of shows such as “Mara Manu”
(Print Council of Australia exhibition, Printmaking Symposium, Canberra
